Homemade chili what makes this recipe a family favorite is that it has just the right amount of heat without being overly spicy. It’s perfect for serving a crowd, enjoying on a cold evening, or cheering on your favorite team during game day. If you like your chili with more kick, simply add red pepper flakes, diced jalapeños, or your favorite hot sauce to turn up the heat.
We love serving this chili alongside warm, buttery homemade cornbread. The slightly sweet cornbread pairs perfectly with the savory chili, making it the ultimate comfort food combination.
