
My husband’s mother’s late brother Charles Dickey Barker was quite the character, and we finally got around to trying the family recipe a few years back, and we have been making it each time we smoke meats or serve with precooked mini sausages.
Stuff you need, our version:
- 2 18oz. Kraft Original BBQ Sauce or any other original BBQ sauce with no added flavorings
- 2 Medium Onion chopped
- 2 Jalapenos de seeded chopped
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2Tbs. Worchester Sauce
- 2Tbs. A1 Steak sauce
- 1/4 Cup Beer of your choice
- 4 Tbs. butter
Original Recipe as dictated below, add to taste as needed:
- 1 Bottle Kraft BBQ Sauce
- 1 Cup of Honey
- Lemon Juice
- Diced Onions/Garlic
- A1 Sauce
- Worcestershire
- Beer
