We love fried pickles dipped in ranch dressing. My mother-in-law said why not have the ranch dressing cooked in the pickles. After a few trial and errors, I found the perfect recipe. I was going to use fish fry but the little old lady who could not read bought chicken fry. These pickles are amazing you do not even need ranch to dip them in. You might try fish fry for a breading that has more cornmeal.
