Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

This chocolate chocolate chip cake recipe has become more than just dessert; they become family traditions. This decadent chocolate cake is one of those recipes in our home. Made extra moist with sour cream and chocolate pudding, then topped with a rich chocolate buttercream frosting, it’s the cake my daughter has requested for countless birthdays over the years.

We decorated this cake with Tiger Butter Fudge dinosaurs for a fun prehistoric theme. Even though my daughter is all grown up now, she still loves dinosaurs. This cake also makes a beautiful bunt cake that can be decorated to provide a more grown-up version.
