Nana’s Chicken Salad

Nana’s Chicken Salad is more than just a recipe in our family, it’s a tradition. My mother-in-law, lovingly known as Nana to all the grandkids, never measured a thing. She’d simply add a little of this and a little of that, and somehow it always turned out perfect. One day, I finally sat down beside her and measured every ingredient as she made it so I could share it with my own family. Even with the exact measurements, hers still somehow tastes a little better, but this recipe comes pretty close!

This creamy, flavorful chicken salad is packed with tender chicken, crunchy celery, onion, dill pickles, sweet pickle relish, and mayonnaise, with optional boiled eggs for added richness. For this version, I used convenient rotisserie chicken that was already pulled from the bone, making it a quick and easy meal to throw together. I also added a few Dave’s Sweet & Spicy Pickles, which add an extra burst of flavor, though they’re completely optional. Whether piled high on a toasted croissant, served as finger sandwiches for a party, or spooned onto crackers for a simple snack, Nana’s Chicken Salad is always a crowd-pleaser that everyone comes back for seconds.
