Now made with Campbells canned spaghetti.
Originally made with canned Franco-American spaghetti, today, the closest product available comes from Campbells. This is a hearty, super comforting family recipe. Bringing back the nostalgia of canned spaghetti, hamburger meat, and onion with creamy Velveeta cheese.
A little ketchup adds a tangy sweetness. It is cheesy, beefy slightly sweet, bit of tang. A great comfort dish that is perfect for a cozy meal or a fun family dinner.
History of it. comes from Mary Jean Dickey Barker, my husband’s mothers’ mother. She remembered her mother making it in 1951, her first grade year.
