Texas Style Grilled Beef and Chicken Fajitas

These Texas-Style Beef & Chicken Fajitas started with a trip to our favorite Mexican restaurant Pappasito’s. After becoming one of our favorite occasional dinners, decided that we have got to figure out how to make these at home! After quite a bit of trial and error, we finally came up with our own version, we think we got pretty close, definitely restaurant quality!

We marinate the beef and chicken in Dale’s Seasoning, fresh lime juice, orange juice, and fajita seasoning, then grill everything over high heat to get that smoky char and incredible Tex-Mex flavor. Pile them into warm flour tortillas and add grilled onions and peppers, cheese, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, or whatever makes the perfect fajita in your house. We hope you’ll give these a try and let us know what you think! You might also enjoy our Pit Boss Smoked Salsa Recipe.

Restaurant quality Texas style beef and chicken fajitas is one of our favorites. Be sure to try it with Mary’s Smoked Salsa, pairs perfectly with these woody hot fajitas. I hope you enjoy them as much as our family does. We have also added a small can of pineapple juice into the marinate.
